Leadership Raleigh Alumni Association is made up of more than 200 Leadership Raleigh graduates. Members are from a variety of backgrounds that share a common commitment to do what they can to help make our community strong
LRAA MEMBERSHIP: TAKE ADVANTAGE!
As former class members of Leadership Raleigh, I want to welcome you to the Leadership Raleigh Alumni Association and invite you to become active in the organization.
Echoing the mission of Leadership Raleigh, the LRAA truly fulfills its mission by providing a source of leadership talent for the community, presenting opportunities for members to meet and keep in touch with community issues on a regular basis
The LRAA recognizes that many of us have limited time we can offer between work life and family life. That's why they make it easy for members to engage in volunteer opportunities and networking events, leveraging opportunities to meet leaders from business, government and non-profits that want to give back to the Raleigh community.
Add to that the years of experience our members have in their professional lives and you have a strong, diverse group of people with the skills to help any organization through service, whether as board members, commission appointees or volunteer supporters.
LRAA also serves former class members by offering an online class directory, postings of leadership and volunteer opportunities in the community as well as updates on the current Leadership Raleigh class.
Join LRAA to take advantage of these benefits! For more information about the LRAA or if you have questions about joining the LRAA, please visit http://www.leadershipraleigh.org/index.shtml or contact Mary Ann Foley at 919.664.7034.
Sincerely,
Camden Webb, LRAA President, Class of 2001

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NETWORK
Are you looking to build your network of contacts in the greater Raleigh area? Want to meet 25 & 39 year olds just like you who are professional and connected? Then you need to get involved with the Young Professionals Network. The first of four programs was held on February 3, 2006 at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center, 1101 Gorman Street. The "Learning from Leaders" forums will include a panel discussion featuring seasoned professionals from our business community: Jim Goodmon, president of Capitol Broadcasting Co., Inc. and Dr. Diane Boardley Suber, president of Saint Augustine's College. Young professionals will have the opportunity learn from these dynamic community leaders through an interactive discussion. For more information contact Greg McNamara at the Greater Raleigh Chamber 919.664.7082 or GMcNamara@the-chamber.org. http://www.raleighchamber.org/chprog/memberservices/ypn.html
