Here are photos from our May 11, 2002 Spring Project at Hustead House, a group home for AIDS patients. This project was to prune shrubs and plant flowers to spruce up the yard in keeping with the surrounding homes in the neighborhood. The unexpected rain that fell all day was good for the plants, but forced us to design creative rain-wear!

Residents immediately began to enjoy the flowers planted near the front door and a new butterfly garden on a sunny slope in the back yard.

Telephone Directory Recycling Program
The county-wide program has collected and recycled over 4,200 tons of telephone directories since its inception by 1990 LR classmates and is still an annual program of the Wake County Solid Waste Division.
