Leadership Raleigh 19 Recruitment Begins
The LR Recruitment Committee is chaired by Jeff Kiser and John Eick. The members of this committee are Megan Montgomery and Merrill Mason for the 2004-05 LR program. Deadline for completed Leadership Raleigh applications is June 30. More information about applying, along with an online application form, can be found on the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce website - www.raleighchamber.org
Class Notes
Tim Moore, 01 has been promoted to Associate Corporate Director of the center for Employment Training (CET) headquartered in San Jose, CA. He will continue to work out of the local Raleigh and Durham schools that he opened and managed for 6 years.
Jean Brown, 99 is serving on the Triangle United Way Health Issues Team.
Chris Malone, 99 is the newly elected Wake Forest Mayor Pro-Tem.
Carole McGovern, 99 is working as a consultant for Stool Pigeons, a new restaurant chain in Raleigh.
Members of the Class of 1999 on the move:
Chris Blaser, 99 is now the circulation director for a San Francisco newspaper. Chris and his new wife left for the west coast in January.
Jeff Matthews, 99 now resides in Connecticut.
Malcomb Coley, 99 has been transferred with Ernst & Young to Atlanta, GA.
Bob Ferguson, 99 is now making his home in Charlotte, NC.
Mark Striebel, 94 is the new president of Johnson Lexus in Raleigh.
John Freehafer & Debra Schmidt, 02 both LR graduates from last years class will be married in March. Congratulations and best wishes to you both.
Mike Sajovec, 97 has been named to the Second Annual Legal Elite listing of North Carolina's top lawyers, in the category of patents/intellectual property. This is the second consecutive year in which Mike Sajovec has been named to the Legal Elite. Congratulations, Mike.
